Embedded Shamrock
Soap Making Instructions

By Bob Sherman

This fun project uses embedded pencil erasers in the shape of shamrocks, but of course the same idea could be adapted to any occasion.

Most of the items you may need can be ordered directly from this page for your convenience.

PLEASE NOTE!! - This project uses a chocolate mold - Do Not pour hotter than 160 degrees F. Adult supervision is required.

Instructions

1. Inexpensive shamrock erasers were used here 2. Melt the clear soap base.
3. Pour a 1/4 inch layer of soap into the mold. 4. Once the first layer is firm to the touch, position the embeds.Mist lightly with your pump spray.
5. Fill the mold. 6. Once the soap has cooled fully remove it from the mold.
7. Although not as good a close up, this photo is more accurate as far as the color it shows. 8. Glycerine attracts moisture from the air and will rapidly lose its nice finish. Always wrap your soaps as air tight as possible until you wish to start using them.
9. The finished soap wrapped. 10. The finished soap unwrapped. Note this soap appears hazy since some glitter dye was used in this one.
