Basic M & P Glycerine Stovetop
Soap Making Instructions

Melt and pour glycerine soap base is a great way to make soap, and unlike traditional soap making - it is not too dangerous to do with children, although adult supervision is necessary. Average time start to finish about 1 hour. This method requires the use of a double boiler.

  1. Melt Glycerine Soap Base in a double boiler to about 158 degrees F.
  2. Stir in dye and scent (if desired).
  3. Pour into mold.
  4. Allow to cool fully before removing from mold. The finished product is a beautiful ready to use soap.

Tip:You can make soap on a rope by embedding a loop of square braid wicking before the soap starts to cool.

SAFETY: Products should not be ingested. Avoid skin and eye contact with concentrated scent oil. Use caution when handling melted soap to prevent burns. Adult supervision required.
