The following Frequently Asked Questions about my Guide To Hand Dipping Incense e-book should be helpful to all.

There has been a major revision to the Incense e-book and it now includes the usage of DPG as well as an added chapter on making cone incense.

  • How much scent oil do I need to dip 100 incense sticks?

Approximately 2.5 ounces of liquid per 100 sticks. This can be any combination of scent oil and dpg or carrier oil.

  • If I want to make 100 cones, and assuming a 50/50 mix of oil and DPG, how much oil and how much DPG would I need to make 100 cones?

It takes 2 ounces of oil / DPG mix to make 100 cones so 1 ounce of oil and 1 ounce of DPG. This may vary slightly with different oils depending on the viscosity.

  • How can you offer such a nice product for free?

The book is paid for by advertising.

  • What ads?

The ads are designed to be very unobtrusive so as not to detract from the user's e-book experience. So they are not what you might normally associate with ads. The advertising is in the form of text links.

  • Does that mean I have to respond to the ads?

Absolutely not. Although people who read the book will have a use for the products and it would be nice if they support us by buying them here, there is no obligation to buy anything or even to click on the ads.

  • I just read your new ebook on "How to Make Incense". I loved it, but I just want to know what you would recommend as a "Carrier Oil" to dilute the Fragrance Oil?

We now prefer to use DPG over Carrier oil. DPG can be found here.

Carrier oil is basically scent oil without the scent and can be found at here.
