  • How can I prevent the heads from snapping off when demolding human figurines?

This can be a problem with any mold that has a narrow section. There are several ways to prevent this, and we suggest combining both.
    • Use hydrocal (Ultracal)as it is much stronger
    • Make sure the outside of the mold is lubricated with soap before removing the mold
    • Roll the mold off to the shoulder, then place a finger on the top of the head and finish rolling off the mold. Never grasp the base and try to pull the mold over the unsupported head
