Part 2

By Bob Sherman

This fun Christmas chocolate project looks more difficult than it is. This is page two of a two page project. If you arrived here from a direct link, go to Chocolate Santa Scene Part 1 to read it from the beginning.

Step By Step Instructions
Continued From Page 1

9. Place the filled mold in your freezer just long enough to de mold easily. 10. Re melt some white and use the back end of the paint brush to apply a tiny dab to each reindeer eye. if desired, the same may be done to Santa's eyes.
11. Re melt some dark chocolate and apply it to Santa's eyes and the reindeers's eyes. 12. The same method was used to make Santa's buttons.
13. White chocolate is re melted. Spoon this onto the base and shape it with a brush. 14. The "snow covered" base ready for the scene.

Variants:

The pieces from this may be mixed and matched with the pieces from our snowman scene mold to create several variations including:
Santa with Snowman,
Santa With Tree,
Snowman with Reindeer
Reindeer with Tree

For an even larger scene combine all the components of both sets on a larger base.

15. Before the white chocolate hardens, press the scene pieces into it. It will be necessary to hold or prop the Santa and reindeer in place while the chocolate hardens.
