Once cooled, it is ready for the next pour.

The thickness of each layer can be varied by allowing more or less
time before pouring out the liquid wax.

Here a very thin layer of white was made.

The final pour is not poured out.

Allow it to cool fully, then remove the candle from the mold.

Trim the wick on the bottom.

Level the bottom against a heated pan or electric griddle.

The bottom after leveling shows the distinct rings of color.

Trim the top wick.

The finished candle looks like any other candle from the top, however the
color layers will be exposed when burned.
