| 9. Thread a long piece of wick through both pieces. | 10. Lay the wicked pieces along side each other. Use a heat gun or torch to liquefy the wax surrounding the wick on the bottom of the mushroom cap. |

| 11. Immediately slide the stem along the wick into the liquefied wax. Allow to cool, then trim the wick flush with the bottom. | 12. The assembled mushroom. |

| 13. Melt some wax of a contrasting color. Because this wax will be in a thin layer, add more dye than usual. Use a spoon or metal baster to drip this wax atop the mushroom. | 14. Continue until you are satisfied with the design. |
