Step
9
I find a small metal measuring spoon works well for this.
Step
10
Make enough blue chips to do all the muffin candles you plan on making.
Step
11
Use a blender or whisk to whip the remaining harvest gold wax. Whipping
to different consistencies and at different temperatures will provide a different
look, so experiment to find a look you like. Note: This works best if the
wax is between 115 and 125 degrees F.
Step
12
Pour or spoon the whipped wax on top of each muffin. The center whipped wax
was the texture of oatmeal when poured. The muffins on the right were the
texture of pancake batter when poured.
Step
13
Sprinkle on some blue chips, then gently press them into the whipped
wax.
Step 14
This photo shows a variety of textures that can be attained by varying the
consistency of the whipped wax.
Step
15
Trim the wick to approximately 1/4 inch (7mm.).
Step
16
A muffin with the cup peeled off.
Step
17
Close up of a finished blueberry muffin candle.
