Troubleshooting Guide

Candles that are oily, seeping, or weeping oil.

Oily Candles
Using too much scent oil or mottling oil has brought the wax beyond its carrying capacity.

Prevention - Use less oil. As a general guideline most waxes will not be able to hold much more than one ounce of oil in total (roughly 2 Tablespoons). If using more than one type of oil the combined amount should not total more than one ounce.
