Candle Lines And Bubbles Problem
Troubleshooting Guide

If your candles have many horizontal lines and bubbles this is normally caused by pouring at a very low temperature, or into exceptionally cold molds.

Lines And Bubbles
Usually fairly close together. This is a fairly common problem that is easy to correct. This is usually caused by a pouring temperature that is way too low trapping a lot of air against the mold. The wax alternately flows and solidifies causing a series of horizontal lines and bubbles to appear in the finished candle.

Prevention - Increase the pouring temperature. For room temperature metal molds 185 degrees F. is about right. If the molds are exceptionally cool a higher temperature may be needed.

If this does not help with your problem, please search our knowledgebase. If the answer is not in the knowledgebase, click here to submit your question.
