Step 17
Remove the cardboard / wax assembly from the mold.


Step 18
Trim the bottom wick.


Step 19
Peel off the cardboard. The difficulty of this will vary depending how well you coat the cardboard with silicone and how long you let the thin layer at the bottom harden. This is a good example of a worst case scenario - both not enough silicone and the pouring was rushed before the thin layer fully hardened.


Step 20
Level the base on a heated pan or griddle.


Step 21
Trim the wick on top to approximately 1/4 inch.


Step 22
To enhance the rough texture, a wire brush was dragged across the surface very gently.


Step 23
The finished rustic corrugated candle.
