Put on a pair of heavy work gloves and place the mold in the water bath prepared
in step 3.

Immediately lift the insert 1/2 inch.
Step

After 1 minute has passed, lift the insert another 1/2 inch.

Repeat step 11 until the insert is fully removed from the mold.
Step

Allow the wax to cool until the wall thickness is approximately 3/8 inch thick.
It may be necessary to cut away some surface film to observe the wall thickness.

Once the desired wall thickness has been reached, remove the mold from the
water bath.

Use a sharp knife to cut away the surface film.
Step

Pour the liquid wax remaining in the center of the candle back into the pouring
pot for use on another candle.
