Like most chocolate lovers my ultimate ice cream is a hot fudge sundae. But when it came to making one at home - storebought hot fudge topping just isn’t that great and making it from scratch was just way too much hassle for a snack.

So after much experimentation I have come up with this fast and easy 2 ingredient, microwavable hot fudge substitute. Although not quite as thick as hot fudge, it is thicker and tastier than chocolate syrup. If you are a chocolate maker, chances are you already have at least one of the ingredients already.
