Make your candles come to life with a pearlescent sheen. This is a
powdered pearlescent substance that is brushed on the finished candle.
This product line is discontinued because it is the same material as our luster
and sparkle dusts located in our chocolate making section. These are in more
convenient packaging for easier use. They may be found here.
Additional product details relevant to candle and soap making:
We find that using these over a similar base color looks best (such as
green on green), although some interesting effects can be obtained by using contrasting
colors (such as silver on black).
- Improves appearance of textured candles - brings out the details
- Can also be used on smooth candles
- Apply to finished candle with a soft brush
- Translucent and Reflective
- Heat stable to 800 degrees F.
- Non tarnishing
- Made from powdered mica (an inert mineral)
- Not for use in molten wax.
